Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dassault SystΓ¨mes to establish the βTamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturingβ (TANCAM) at the TIDEL Park, Chennai. A first of its kind Centre of Excellence (CoE) in India.
With its world-class team and performance excellence for industry segments like Design, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Manufacturing Operations Management, High-Fidelity Simulation, Product Design (Both Software & Hardware) and IT Integration for the entire enterprise. Headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, we help industry clusters and MSMEs to achieve their business goals and improve their processes with inclusive sustainability.
TANCAM focuses on the area of Advanced Manufacturing by leveraging the strengths of partners in the innovation ecosystem (Govt, Industry, Academia, MSME, Startups). TANCAM intends to collaborate with industries, industry bodies, and academia to aid in R&D and Skill Development.
TANCAM equips engineering students with the necessary skills and knowledge to be well-prepared and successful in the industry. We provide upskilling opportunities to aspiring students and MSMEs, focusing on precision manufacturing that requires upgrading the skills of MSMEs.
Our Objectives:
Open to all school students across Tamil Nadu (Classes 8β12)
Participation as individuals or teams (maximum 3 members)
Cross-class teams allowed within the same school
Each student/team can submit ONLY ONE primary project per track
